When choosing our Private Tour in Skagway, you are booking directly with the owners - Tom or Michele. No tour broker and no reservation fees! Your benefit is a lower price.
Depending on your tour, you will be in a 14 passenger mini-bus OR 24 passenger bus. This gives you added safety and comfort with large windows and easy entry and exit with handrails and an automatic door for the many photo stops and overlooks. On an all day tour, you will really appreciate the difference in our vehicles!
YUKON - CARCROSS TOUR(approx. 7.5 hours and 140 miles roundtrip)
1-14 passengers: $1,200 for first 8 passengers plus 5% sales tax. $50 for each additional person (9-14 passengers) plus 5% sales tax. You have the owner/local guide(Tom or Michele) on your private tour in Skagway with Trail of '98 Tours. Follow the historic trail of the 1898 Gold Rush over White Pass into Canada's Yukon Territory. Search for goats, bears, and other wildlife while travelling the Klondike, one of North America's most scenic highways en route to the historic town of Carcross. Options can include a visit to an Iditarod Sled Dog Camp and/or Yukon Suspension Bridge. |
HALF DAY TO YUKON TOUR Yukon sign
(approx. 5 hours and 100 miles roundtrip)
1-24 passengers: $800 for first 8 passengers plus 5% sales tax. $50 for each additional person (9-24 passengers) plus 5% sales tax. This tour will follow the historic trail of 1898 Gold Rush over the White Pass Summit to the Yukon Sign. Many photo stops along the way as you hear the stories of the gold rush. We will also watch for wildlife along the way. Options: Tutshi Sled Dog Camp: Meet the puppies that hope to be part of the Iditarod team someday with Michelle Phillips, Iditarod and Yukon Quest Musher. Admission $7 per person. Suspension Bridge: For excitement walk across the Yukon Suspension Bridge which is approximatley 65 feet above the Tutshi River. Admission is $14 per person. Length of tour depends on options added to your tour. |
SUMMIT & SUSPENSION BRIDGE TOUR(approx. 3.75 hours and 70 miles roundtrip)
1-24 passengers: $600 for first 8 passengers plus 5% sales tax. $50 for each additional person (9-24 passengers) plus 5% sales tax. Hear stories of 1898 Gold Rush as we travel over the White Pass Summit to the Yukon Suspension Bridge. We will travel the Klondike Highway to the top of the White Pass Summit approximately 3,292 feet in 15 miles. Follow the same trail gold seekers traveled in 1898 en route to Yukon Gold. Photo stops include a view of Denver Glacier, Bracket Wagon Road, Pitchfork Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Moore Creek Bridge, Alaska Sign, the Summit, cross into British Columbia with views of Summit and Fraser Lake. We will go to Tutshi Lake which is our turnaround point. Option to visit the Yukon Suspension Bridge - approximately 180 foot long pedestrian cable bridge. Admission is $14 per person. If your group doesn't want to stop at the Suspension Bridge, we can spend more time at extra photo stops. |
