Enjoy your Private Tour in Skagway, Alaska with family and friends to Yukon with the owner and local guide(Tom or Michele).   We will travel the Klondike Highway to the top of the White Pass Summit approximately 3,292 feet in 15 miles then to Fraser and on to Yukon.   Continue on the Klondike Highway past the Summit into Canada's Yukon Territory and hear the stories of the gold rush as we follow the same trail gold seekers traveled in 1898 in search for gold.   We will be paralleling the White Pass Train past magnificent waterfalls and spectacular scenery to the summit & beyond.  Leave behind the coastal rain forest as we cross the Canadian border into the sub-arctic alpine tundra. We’ll then journey into boreal forest past crystal lakes, Log Cabin and the winter Fantail Trail. Stand near the shores of Lake Tutshi and views of Tagish Lake, encircled by mile high mountains, pose at the Yukon and Alaska border signs.  The Yukon is always our best opportunity to encounter wildlife, so we’ll also be watching for bears, moose, sheep, goats and more along the way.  We will stop at the town of Carcross with Lake Bennett, Carcross Desert and an option to continue to Emerald Lake for a photo.   Add a stop at a Iditarod Musher Camp, Suspension Bridge or even a walk in the desert.  We carry the finest high quality optical equipment for best views of high altitude mountain goats and dall sheep.  All our private Skagway Tours are done in a mini-bus / van for your added safety, comfort, large viewing windows, and the automatic door for easy entry and exit for the many photo stops and overlooks.  On an all day tour, you will really appreciate the difference!
